| The Farm | This 450 acre spring calving dairy farm is located close to towns such as Skibbereen, Bantry and Drimoleague. There are 350 cows being milked on 2 farms in a 20 unit cluster remover parlour. This is a very modern set up and very clean with the heavy labour taken out. All calving sheds are located next to the parlour. |
| The Role | The role will involve working as part of a team as well as using your own initiative. You will be involved in milking, calf rearing, calving and general farm work. This farm has very modern machinery, for e.g. tractors, loaders, excavators etc, so machinery experience will be a big advantage. |
| The Applicant | The successful applicant will need to be a team player and be able to work alone if needs be. Needs to have a love for farming and a keen interest in further progressing their knowledge and farming career. The ability to spot mastitis and an animal that may not be in 100% health again will be a huge advantage. |
