| The Role | Milking 530 cows in a 50 bail dairymaster rotary parlour. There are always 2-3 people milking. Split of 40/60 Autumn/Spring calving. All cattle fed with diet feeder in the winter time. Some machinery experience would be an advantage but not essential. |
| The Applicant | The ideal candidate needs to be an excellent Stockperson with responsibility for milking with 2 other staff during the Summer months and 3-4 other staff during the winter months. The successful candidate should also be able to spot, bulling, sick cows, lameness and a cow that may not be in 100% health. This farm also has the dairymaster moo monoter collars on all cows. A basic I.T knowledge would be an advantage, however, training will be provided |
