| The Farm | Mixed Horticultural farm/Orchard with lots of variety and challenges Located in the North Kildare area. |
| The Role | This Kildare based farm has an availability for Agricultural Machinery Operators. The successful candidate will be working as part of the farm team, carrying out all the tasks required to grow and harvest our apples. The Agricultural Machinery Operator will work on the farm, with farm machinery and day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to: Tractor Driving Operating Sprayer Harvesting / Driving Mechanical Harvester Operating Grass Mower Key Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks. Greasing Machinery Checking Oil Levels Basic Stick/MiG Welding Basic Electrical Wiring Maintaining/Changing wearable parts. Skills Required. Experience in the above would be an advantage but not required as training will be provided. |
| The Applicant | A skilled machinery person who senses when the gear is getting into distress, knows what to do to alleviate the problem and is capable of diagnosing and fixing the issue without undue fuss .Capable of working within a small farm team and operating a diverse range of horticultural equipment with a view to maximising uptime and eliminating equipment downtime. The ideal candidate will have mechanical acumen and will be proficient in operating machinery and farming equipment. |
