| The Farm | The Farm: This 150 acre spring calving dairy and beef enterprise farm located close to Listowel is milking 50 through a dairymaster parlour. The plans are to further increase the herd size to 70. All calves are reared on the farm with beef cattle sold at 20 months. Farm machinery is in excellent condition and well maintained. |
| The Role | The role will involve milking both morning and evening, general farm work and rearing calves. Silage, slurry and re seeding is contracted out so there is limited machinery work do be done. |
| The Applicant | The successful applicant will need good experience and be familiar with the running`s of a dairy farm. He/she will need to be confident with milking with he ability to spot and treat mastitis, lamness and be able to notice animals that are not 100% health |
