| The Farm | This is a progressive 300 cow spring calving Friesan herd operating on a grass grass based system. Located in prime dairying heartland it is not far from Middleton in East Cork . Wintering facilities are second to none with a modern 300 unit cubicle house. Milking is completed through a modern 24 unit automatic Gascoigne parlour. |
| The Role | Assistant Herdsman with particular emphasis on the cows and the milking operation. |
| The Applicant | Must have a keen interest in dairying and particularly in herd health. Needs to be a capable milker and be mature enough to enjoy the challenge of occasionally running the operation of the farm single handed. |
| Accommodation | Currently there is not any accommodation available with this role. However by Summer 2021 there will be good quality apartment suitable for a couple available |
