| The Farm | The Farm: Modern dairy farm located close to the town of Ballyheigue. |
| The Role | This role involves milking, machinery driving, calf rearing and general farm work. The successful applicant will not be milking all the time. They keep all their own calves and are also involved in tillage. All modern machinery including their own track machine, a fusion bailer, modern tractors etc. |
| The Applicant | The successful applicant needs to show a keen interest in a farming career. He/she needs to be able to work as part of a team and also use their own initiative to get the work done. Training will also be provided if the applicant is not confident with machinery. Also, if there is someone looking to get into the farming career, the farmer has said "we are willing to train if they are willing to learn". |
